A fabulous, complete and highly decorative 3 piece George Jones majolica salmon pate tureen, cover and underplate, with finely detailed salmon handle, raised on a bed of a variety glistening fishes bestrewn with fronds of seaweed, the wicker and basketweave effect body and underplate decorated in yellow and brown glazes, also with trailing seaweed fronds. It is extremely rare to find this model complete with all three elements matching. English c1870
