An exceptional large and imposing crystal glass and ormolu epergne of truly outstanding quality. The large central vase of full height in the form of a thistle is surrounded by three more vases and three bowls, all smothered in the finest cutting. The foot is adorned with slice and cross cutting and the solid frame is finely gilt. A phenomenal and rare object. English c 1870
